Why Deep-Relief Laser Engraving Outlasts Printed or Painted Plates

Printed graphics sit on top of the metal. Painted fills chip and flake the first time the plate rubs against a holster or a mag pouch. Laser engraving is different — it cuts into the metal itself, removing material to create real depth you can see and feel. That's the difference between a sticker and a mark that's actually part of the gun.

We run deep-relief passes so the artwork holds contrast and detail for the life of the pistol. Carry it, clean it, run it through a thousand dry-fire reps — the engraving doesn't know the difference. There are only two plate types, and generation never changes the fit. That's it. No guessing, no chasing down a Gen-specific SKU.

Standard plate fits every standard-frame Glock, Gen 1 through Gen 5 — G17, G19, G20, G21, G22, G23, G26, G34, G45, and more. Yes, the G20 and G21 run the same Standard plate as a G17 or G19. Frame size is what matters, not generation.

Slimline plate fits the single-stack family — G43, G43X, G43X MOS, G48, G48 MOS, and the PSA Dagger Micro.

Both plates also fit a wide range of Glock-pattern pistols beyond Glock itself, including the PSA Dagger lineup. Shadow Systems shooters — our slide plates are compatible with many Glock-pattern pistols, including several Shadow Systems models.
